Fatal workplace accident in Pikermi: Worker dies from electrocution

On the morning of Tuesday, 6 May, a tragic accident occurred in Drafi, Pikermi, where a worker lost his life due to electrocution while clearing a plot of land.
According to iRafina.gr, the incident took place shortly after 10:00 a.m. on Fygeas Street. A cleaning crew had been dispatched to the area to clear dry grass and debris from a property. During the work, one of the crew members attempted to move a cable, believing it was not live.
Unfortunately, the cable was still carrying electricity. The worker received a fatal electric shock and died on the spot. An ambulance arrived shortly after, but sadly, the man had already passed away.
